On Friday, November 13th at 5:30 pm, Tafer Hotels & Resorts will be holding a cocktail at Tierraluna, to present the first stage of the Garza Blanca South Master real estate development comprised of 1927 acres of prime land situated in a breathtaking location.
The Garza Blanca South Master Development was designed by the prestigious international architecture and urban planning firm Gensler, together with the help of Tafer´s architecture and interior design department. The result of this collaboration will be the best hotel, condominium, and real estate products in the area. The entire
development once completed will consist of 1,328 keys between beach hotels, La Garzetta hotel, Echoes Hotel, Villas de Montaña, a boutique hotel, 2 condominium developments, single-family residences, a magnificent 2,200-square-meter spa, a tree house development, another boutique hotel with panoramic views of the mountains, and Tierraluna.
The Master Plan will require seven years to see the 1,328 keys completed. This represents an approximate investment of 500 million dollars. This important development will radically boost the southern region of Puerto Vallarta, activate the economy, and generate jobs. It is estimated that this project will create 1,800
direct permanent jobs and 6,100 indirect ones.
An integral part of the development will be Tierraluna, a commercial and entertainment park designed to be a communal play space and nature village with natural pools and open-air spaces devoted to wellness including designated areas for yoga. It will feature four gourmet restaurants, cultural activities, thoughtfully
curated workshops, open-air art exhibitions, a carousel, an outdoor theater, and a chapel. There will be nine boutiques selling sustainable fashion garments, local designer jewelry, homemade body care, Mexican artisan handicrafts, ceramics, and gifts. The park will also offer an art walk and farmer’s market twice per week, 12 miles of trails for hiking and a beach club, among other amenities. Tierraluna is set to be completed in April 2021.
The first stage of the Garza Blanca South Master Plan will be Lemuria Residences, an exclusive development comprised of 1048 acres of which only 8% will be developed and 92% will remain as an ecological reserve.

In the face of the overwhelming storm (the pandemic), Tafer Hotels & Resorts has had to re-evaluate growth plans delaying the opening times of Hotel Mousai´s second tower and Garza Blanca Cancun to October 2021. As well as delaying the construction plans of Garza Blanca Riviera Maya for a few years. However, sales in the last quarter of 2020 are expected to exceed last year´s results, thanks to the enormous effort of all the
